I was terminated today. The company is going through a restructuring period, of which I was not aware that my job was on the line. This is just a note so I don't have to explain it numerous times. I was not terminated for performance or cause, which I would have at least known was coming, which is unfortunate. On the plus side, I get some nice weather to be off in.

EDIT: I appreciate the notes of support from people. I didn't put up comments for this because however well intentioned, I didn't want to see a dozen comments reinforcing the fact that it's happened. It sucks, I'm a little numb, but I will be fine. Thank you all for your concern and your support.
